Meet Gustavo Lin

Gustavo Lin grew up between Vancouver and Lima, where alpaca fibre was never a material. It was a way of life.

After years watching his family's dogs brave Vancouver winters in inadequate coats, he asked a simple question: why isn't anyone making a dog sweater worth keeping?

The answer was in Arequipa, Peru. The alpaca heartland. 100% baby alpaca fibre: three times warmer than cashmere, hypoallergenic, naturally water-resistant. Hand-knit by the same artisans who have been working the fibre for generations.

Quni Boutique was founded in 2021 to bring that answer to dog owners who care. Not fast fashion for pets. A considered thing, made to last.

Every sweater ships from Vancouver. Every one is hand-knit in Arequipa. The fibre comes from a small co-operative in the Andes highlands, where the animals graze at altitude and the first shearing yields the finest grade.

We make five sweaters. Three colourways each. That's it. A curated edit, not a catalogue.
